Based in Houston Texas, Matt Garza has been shooting, editing and sharing the world around him for the past several years. Not content with one form of media, Matt has extended his passion for photography and blogging, into video production and editing.
After shooting as a hobbyist for a number of years, Matt started Solid State Photography in the summer of 2010. “One thing I noticed in the weddings and events I would attend is that there was this proverbial wall between the photographer and client. I wondered how a photographer could be successful at capturing a person’s emotions and personality, if they had no clue who the person was? I wanted to change that.”
“I started Solid State Photography because I wanted to build friendships before building the client/photographer relationship. Once that’s developed, I’ve seen how much more comfortable my clients are with me and how much better my content turns out.”
